AIDA is an acronym that stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and action.  It refers to the goal of any electronic marketer creating a successful website.

The website for Ski Utah is a great example for how AIDA works.

Attention -  Among the first things one notices is the horizontal navigation bar which directs you to popular things like snow reports, deals, resorts, and trip planning.

Interest -  The big picture below the navigation bar does a great job in sparking one's interest.  Many people who log on to this website will be interested in purchasing a season pass, and they'll know they came to the right website.

Desire -  The link to the ski swap provides a place to help fulfill the desire to have that new piece of gear they have been wanting for the past year.

Action -  The website does a great job in providing an opportunity to easily buy season passes, fulfilling the action component of AIDA.
